  • Research and Development Cell  & Department of Information Technology organized a AICTE-ATAL  6 days Faculty Development Program on “Techniques for Data and Knowledge Driven Multi-Criteria Decision Models” during 11 Dec 2023 to 16 Dec 2023 (Coordinator: Dr. N.Jawahar, Professor & Dean (R&D) and Co-coordinator: Dr.R.Bhaskaran, Professor of Information Technology).
  • Speakers: IIMB, IITM, IISc, TCE, NITTTR, PU, PSNACET
  • Participants : 43 (External : 28; Internal: 15)

  • Research and Development Cell organized a seminar of “Guidelines for Writing Sponsored Project Proposals” on 07 Oct 2023. Speaker: Dr.N.Jawahar, Dean (R&D), PSNCET – 17 faculty participated.
  • Research and Development Cell organisd a Interaction Session on “Research Domains In High Performance Computing” on 28 April 2023.  Speakers : Dr.Shammer Shenda, Director,of Performance Lab, University of Oregon, USA and Mr. Ganesan Narayanasamy, IBM Open Power Leader, USA –  10 Students and 50 faulty Participated
  • Research and Development Cell arranged a guest lecturer and interaction session on “Writing Research Project Proposals” on 20 FEB 2023. Speaker: Dr.M. Lakshmanan, DST-SERB National Science Chair, Bharathiar Universisty – 45 faculty participated
  • Research and Development Cell arranged a guest lecturer on “Research and International Collaboration oppurtunities at DST” on 18 FEB 2023. Speaker: Dr.Sujit Banerjee, Scientist F, DST, NewDelhi – 300 faculty and 15 Students participated

    • Research & Development Cell (RDC) organized a program “Guidelines for Preparing and Writing Research Proposals” on 12 OCT 2022 Speaker: Dr.N.Jawahar, Dean (R&D), PSNACET – 18 faculty participated.
    • IPR Cell & IIC organized  lecture “Need for R&D and IPR Activities @ Engineering Colleges: Myth and Realities”  on 26 April 2022     Speaker : Dr.K.Gopala Krishnan, Advisor R & D, Nagarjuna College of  Engineering Technology Bangalore, Former Chairman IE(India), Bangalore Chapter,  –  200 Students and 20 faulty Participated
    • IPR Cell in collaboration with National Intellectual Property Awareness Mission (NIPAM) organised an “Awareness program on Intellectual Property Rights” on 16 March 2022. Speaker: Dr.A. Lakshimi Narayanan, Examiner of Patent and Design, Officer, Intellectuals Property Office,  GOI, Chennai
    • Research and Development Cell of Department of Mechanical Engineering organized a Guest Lecture on “Research Scope and Perspectives of Aero Space Materials and Processes” on 27 April 2022. Speaker : Dr. Ram Prabhu, Scientist ‘F’ DRDO Bangalore – 30 faculty and 3 PG students participated
    • RDC organised  a Guest Lecture on “Research Design and International Collaboration Activities” on 23 March 2022         Speaker : Dr. Dr. Nachiappn Subramaian, Professor of Operations and Logistics Management and Supply Chain, University of Sussex Business School – 58 faculty participated
